    Description

    WHW, Winterhilfswerk campaign, was a German aid program for the poor that was held annually from October till March in the years 1933 – 1945.   These small tokens were part of the gifts you would receive once you donated.  On the tokens, there are dates 1937-38 inscribed on them.  Considering the age of them, they are in good condition.  Some of the backs are missing the pins.  And two of the soldiers are missing the frame surround.  There are 22 tokens, 3 of them are duplicates.
