    Description

    Up for sale is this cloth (I think it is made of linen) bag that was used by the New York City Transit Authority to hold either coins from parking meters or tokens from subway turnstiles.  The bag is in very nice vintage condition.   It is cream colored with black lettering and stripes.   It was never stitched closed at the top.  It measures 12" wide and 17" tall - the edge stitching is on the inside - some are on the outside.  Thanks for looking.
