Rotbart Mond-Extra razor (fat handle, replated)

Hello,
I'm offering for sale a repaired and replated two piece Rotbart Mond-Extra razor with the closed comb head.
It is one of the more rare, pre 1945 Rotbarts, a „fat” handle with closed comb head.
The handle parts and cap are brass, neck and comb are zamak. The crimped ring of the neck was broken, so the comb was loose and the bottom ring of the neck was oversized, so the handle cracked in three places, most likely during assembly.
The handle was repaired with a soldered in brass ring, the cracks are stable and much less visible than they were. Also, the bottom of the neck was thinned down to fit, now it’s snug, but can be disassembled, if required.
The comb was reattached with a brass tube crimped and secured with a dab of epoxy, the joint is secure.
The inside of the cap has four triangle shaped cuts next to the corner tabs, I can’t say whether these are added by a user or a factory variant.
The razor was fully restored and brass parts replated in silver. The neck and comb can’t be properly replated, being zamak. On the other hand, any plating would peel away with time, so it'sworth the effort.
It’s clean, straight and a lovely razor, zamak parts show no sign of rot.
